DCS is a team of experienced third-party claims adjusters with 35 years of collective experience in handling cargo, trucking, and marine claims. The team at DCS is dedicated to providing efficient and fair resolution to any claims, ensuring fair treatment and prompt resolution.

Michael G. Bush Jr.


With over a decade of experience in the industry, Michael Jr. has been a licensed adjuster since 2011. Specializing in trucking liability, cargo claims, and general liability, he serves as an owner and manages the claims department. Michael's extensive experience is evident in the clear and succinct nature of his reports, and his dynamic negotiation skills. He is an active member of the Northshore Claims Association and continues to expand his knowledge and expertise through participation in various seminars and conferences, such as the NAIIA Annual Conference, Transportation Megaconference, Arkansas Trucking Seminar, TIDA's Young Professionals Seminar, and the TIDA Annual Trucking Seminar.

Nita K. Liberto


Nita is a senior leader and co-owner of the business, with a BA in marketing. With her 13 years of experience Nita has held various roles, including managing back-office operations, coordinating marketing efforts, overseeing daily operations, and orchestrating personnel. Nita's involvement in the industry includes serving as treasurer on the board of the Northshore Claims Association and secretary on the board of the Louisiana Claims Association. She also coordinates the company's participation in major industry events, such as the Transportation Megaconference, Arkansas Trucking Seminar, and TIDA's Annual Seminar.

Renee D. Hamilton


Renee has been licensed since 2017 but has worked in the industry since 2013. Renee specializes in trucking liability, marine claims, worker’s compensation and is a notary in Louisiana. Her detail-oriented reports and proactive negotiation tactics have become an asset to the company. She is an active member of the Northshore Claims Association and the Louisiana Claims Association.

James S. Underwood


Jim has been in the insurance industry since 1979. His experience includes positions as an underwriter, claims examiner, and independent adjuster on both the maritime and trucking sides and holding a position as the risk manager for a trucking company. In addition, his resume includes a stint as Marine Claims Manager for the Chicago office of St. Paul Fire & Marine and being a member of the trucking claims CAT loss team, also for St. Paul. He has been with our company since 2000 and has earned a reputation as an outstanding negotiator through the years. Jim is our closer which sees his function as settling claims before they incur defense costs.
